We have built up a respected and established professional and friendly service. We travel to you in the comfort of your own home or chosen venue allowing you to have a relaxing and stress free time. Beverly McColgan wedding artists only use Top Brands that include, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and Dior.

Beverly McColgan Weddings provide a wedding and bridal make-up service around the UK as well as internationally. All prices for wedding and bridal make-up can be seen on our prices page. All prices include your trial, which acts as a deposit for your wedding date.

Your Trial
Ideally one month before your Big Day, but if you are getting married in the height of the wedding season, you may wish to have your trial earlier to make sure your date is available.
Your wedding make-up trial is included in the Beverly McColgan wedding package price, and is used to secure your wedding day date, which is non-refundable. The deposit is deducted off your package price on the day of your wedding.

However, if you only have a few weeks to your big day and you have just realised the importance of a makeup artist, please still call us. A trial is essential for you and your make-up artist to ensure that your make-up reflects the look you want and to carry out skin analysis to choose the most suitable products for you; answer any queries and address your concerns to design the perfect make-up for you and your bridal party. By this time you should know what your colour scheme is and have chosen your wedding dress and have a rough idea of how you may like to wear your hair on your special day. Bring magazine pictures of styles of make-up that you prefer.
For the trial at home the make-up artist will set up in a room that has as much natural daylight as possible and will have a small table and a stool for you to feel comfortable on. After you have decided on a look the BM Weddings make-up artist will apply your trial make-up using professional products and tricks of the trade that mean that your make-up will stay flawless and comfortable for hours!
A trial should be carried out on every member of the bridal party, but we appreciate how difficult it can be to get everyone together, especially if some people live a long distance away. A photograph of them is all that is required.

Wedding Day Makeup
The BM Weddings make–up artist will visit you at home, at your wedding venue or work alongside your chosen hairdressing salon to cut down travelling times on your wedding day.
At the trial the make-up artist will give you a product list to enable you to purchase the Bride’s, and bridesmaid’s lipstick to top up throughout the day. At the trial the BM Weddings make-up artist will recommend that tanning treatments are carried out 3 days before the wedding, (it is also recommended 3 days before the trial to ensure correct product choice to ensure that you have no adverse reactions thus allowing a perfect application.) Facials should be carried out a week before the wedding to ensure no pimples are drawn out for the Wedding day. (However, if you do break out contact your make-up artist and they will recommend treatments.)
Please ensure that all bridal party members have NO makeup on at all on the morning of your wedding and it is advisable to wear either a dressing gown or very loose fitting clothing to ensure your make-up and hair is not disturbed. It is recommended that you inform everyone that your make-up will take about an hour and you should be free from any other preparations for the wedding day in that time. It is recommended that members of the Bridal Party have their eyebrows shaped on the day of the trial as it makes a big difference to the shape of the face if the eyebrows are well framed. There is a small charge of £10.00 for this service.
Travel Expenses
We travel to any destination within a 30 mile radius from Glasgow free of charge. However, there will be a charge for travelling outside this radius. Please contact us with your address or venue location to discuss fees for this service.

Please note that any cancellation of our wedding service within 30 days of wedding date will incur a cancellation fee of £100.
